You can stop smoking, without killing yourself. I smoked a pack a day for twenty years, I'll tell you, how. First, although you do stop smoking, over night, it doesn't really work that way. Make it inconvenient. I rolled my own. I have a beautiful antique cigarette case and smoked from a NAZI stick like Natasha. They came from Germany, and I cleaned them with alcohol. Rolling my own cut my habit in half as I only rolled some in advance if I was going out, to take along. Next, I stopped smoking in the house. My dog had lost a lung, that's why I really stopped smoking in the house, but once again, I was now down to only five a day in the winter. Then, and this is when you are really ready to stop smoking altogether, do it when the occasion arrives. I was very sick, for three days, in bed, plus got my period, very bad, on top of that, so I was not getting out of bed. It's only very hard the first day. The next couple of days are also quite bad, but once you've stopped for three days, if you really want to stop, you won't smoke. Clear-out reminders of your habit when you first stop: ashtrays, paraphernalia, don't watch any old movies. Skip the convenience stores. I smoked on the porch, so I avoided it for awhile. Green olives, with pits, and sunflower seeds help. Besides the hand-to-mouth fix, I think they have something that curbs the craving, besides being healthy. Italian green olives taste better than Spanish. Take it easy on the sunflower seeds, they are fatty. I haven't had any nicotine in years. I hardly ever miss it. I can be around smokers and have no problems. I'm not one of those exes that badger people, nor does the smoke make me sick. My father had stopped smoking via a hypnotist. He'd tried everything, else. The hypnosis worked for him, but he could no longer be around a smoker without getting sick.
I feel very fortunate to have scored one of Tatianna's beautiful Russian dolls!
